Delaware Ronald McDonald House Acknowledges Decades of Service

WILMINGTON, Del., May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Volunteerism is more than necessary to keep the non-profit segment running smoothly in tough economic times. And the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware is making sure their volunteers get the recognition they deserve. A Volunteer Recognition Wall is set to premiere this spring, with a whimsical, permanent art installation by LouLou's Whimsicals.

Muralist and interior designer LouLou Marshall designed, and is currently painting and producing, the Volunteer Recognition Wall in the family recreation room on the main floor of the house. The Ronald McDonald House is a safe, affordable, home-away-from-home where families can live together and receive the special care they need during difficult times.

LouLou's special customized art includes hearts, flowers and birds to categorize years of service -- a representation of 10 to 30 years of service. "I've imagined that trees represent the growing love and passion that the volunteers represent to the Ronald McDonald House Delaware families, who are here from all around the world."
