PHOENIX, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The program was created and is supported by the leading pharmacy benefit consulting firm, ARMSRx, and features transparency, aggressive drug discounts, pass through rebate reimbursements, implementation credits and many other options not typically available to hospitals independently.

In the current economic environment, hospitals are seeking every possible opportunity to save money. AzHHA has recognized this need and is supporting its members by offering its members unique, high-quality programs.

"Arizona hospitals are at a huge advantage to be represented by AzHHA, an organization that is cognizant of their needs and is actively searching for cutting edge solutions to assist them," states Anita Stanford, ARMSRx VP Pharmacy Benefit Consulting. ARMSRx is a pharmacy benefit consulting firm (not a pharmacy benefit manager) that specializes in saving payers money on their pharmacy expenditures. Most prescription benefit programs are based on financial arrangements that are complex, opaque and highly profitable to the Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).Our client's Association program has saved significant dollars for the entities utilizing the program. Our vested interest is the payers and our mission is to align the PBM's business objectives with the payers benefit goals.
