Arcadian Health Plans Expand Their Medicare Health Plan Offerings and Enter Four New States

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Arcadian Health Plan, Inc., announced today the debut of their Medicare Advantage health plans for select counties in California, Missouri, New Hampshire and Virginia, as well as continued expansion into existing markets including Maine and Texas. Its sister organizations and corresponding affiliates also continue expansion in Georgia, Louisiana, New York, Oklahoma, and North Carolina. Providing Medicare Advantage health plans in 15 states, Arcadian Health Plans provide health care to over 46,000 Medicare beneficiaries and is ranked the number one HMO in 15 of their 21 markets.

Despite the CMS funding cuts to Medicare Advantage plans in general, Arcadian Health Plans are able to provide high quality and cost effective care through a coordinated care model. According to Robert Fahlman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, "Arcadian Health Plan is enjoying accelerating growth thanks to our focus on rural markets and our strong, unique partnerships with provider and broker networks. In addition, our medical management techniques allow us to deliver cost-efficient, high quality care to our members."
