AppleGate Recovery Opens Physician Based Opioid Treatment Center In Richmond, VA

AppleGate Recovery recently announced the opening of a new clinic in Richmond, VA affiliated with The Coleman Institute, both BayMark Health Services facilities. AppleGate provides medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine or Suboxone® and counseling for the treatment of opioid addiction.

AppleGate Recovery now provides physician’s office-based, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) at 17 clinics in 7 states, including two in the state of Virginia located in Richmond and Blacksburg.

Noted Mike Saul, AppleGate Division President for BayMark Health Services: “Medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine is effective and offers an alternate treatment approach to meet our patients where they are at.”

AppleGate Recovery medical providers utilize buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds, also known by the brand names Suboxone® Zubsolv®, Bunavail® to help patients control withdrawal symptoms and cravings for opioids. In addition to medication services, AppleGate provides counseling, lab services and case management. This proven treatment model wraps supportive services around medication to address both the physical addiction as well as the causes and consequences of that addiction.
