Annual List of 'Super Doctors' Features 33 Texas Institute for Surgery Physicians
Date:11/21/2008

DALLAS, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- In a statewide survey, 33 physicians credentialed to practice at the Texas Institute for Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas were honored by Texas Monthly in its 2008 annual listing of "Super Doctors."

Each year, the publishers of Texas Monthly work with Key Professional Media, Inc. to survey more than 38,000 medical professionals across the state of Texas to ask, "If you needed medical care, which doctor would you choose?" Key Professional Media performs the polling, research and selection for "Super Doctors" in a process designed to identify medical professionals who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

"It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by one's peers. Every day TIS surgeons and our staff are engaged in performing state of the art surgical procedures in our facility," says Debbie Hay, RN, BSN, CASC, president, Texas Institute for Surgery. "These physicians represent the wealth of expertise, dedication and skill that is a hallmark of the Texas Institute for Surgery. We are so very proud to have these doctors as part of the TIS family."
