Announcing the Launch of Chemo-Couture.com
Date:7/20/2009

VALENCIA, Calif., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Chemo-Couture, LLC recently launched its online boutique, www.chemo-couture.com, featuring inspirational, handcrafted and one-of-a-kind products and gifts for patients undergoing chemotherapy, their caregivers and loved ones.

Inspired by friends and family who have battled various forms of the disease, Jane Bebita and Julie Uhrig joined forces to create an original array of items including apparel, hats, silk scarves, bags and totes, blankets, jewelry, books, organic cremes, seatbelt covers, coolers, medical scrubs and team wear, all designed to make the difficult road to cancer recovery a little less bumpy.

Chemo-Couture has partnered with several national charities to which 5% of each purchase will be donated. Customers may choose from associations, foundations and recovery centers that represent all types of cancers for all age ranges including Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, Cancer Recovery Foundation of America, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and a variety of breast cancer-related organizations.

To showcase the custom-designed items, chemo-couture.com features models in various stages of recovery who have graciously shared their personal stories and their time to raising awareness and encouraging others. Each model has a unique set of circumstances and they represent many ages, races and types of cancer endured.

The founders agree that "no matter how one handles the treatments - whether by becoming the warrior that refuses to let cancer slow him down or be retreating to a quiet place where she can focus on wellness and family - everyone needs a little pampering and lost of support."
