Animal Dermatology Clinic Announces Today the Grand Opening of a State of the Art Veterinary Specialty Practice in Pasadena, California
Date:10/31/2008

PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Animal Dermatology Clinic announces the grand opening of their new full time state of the art specialty practice in Pasadena, CA. The 3,700 square foot facility has six dermatology exam rooms and a separate procedure room, where laser surgeries, allergy testing, biopsies, and other diagnostic testing, as well as treatments, can be performed on-site, in a quiet and stress-free environment. There is also a custom-built area in the clinic in which a separate dental practice will soon be located.

"We are very excited about our new facility opening in Pasadena. We have been working at satellite clinics in Pasadena for the past several years and have realized over time that our clients would be better served with a full time location. We also believe that this full time clinic will be able to address the needs of clients in the San Fernando, San Gabriel, and Simi Valleys, as well as, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, and other outer-lying areas. We have been fortunate in finding such a prime location for the clinic in beautiful downtown Pasadena," says owner Rusty Muse, DVM, DipACVD.

An open house for referring veterinarians and clients to tour the clinic and meet the doctors of the Pasadena practice will be held Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the 150 North San Gabriel Boulevard, Suite 400 location. As the Pasadena clinic's full-time doctor, Dr. John Angus, DVM, Dip ACVD will practice along with Dr. Joel Griffies, DVM, Dip ACVD and Dr. Allison Kirby, DVM, who will be practicing part time at this clinic. These doctors, as well as many doctors from the other Animal Dermatology Clinics across California, will be on-site to meet with referring veterinarians and clients.

Founded in 1980 by Dr. Craig Griffin, Animal Dermatology Clinic has the distinction of being the first privately owned clinic approved by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology to provide a residency program, and
