Andrew Hawley Finds Jimi Hendrix 1969 Charlotte Coliseum Vintage Concert Poster
Date:3/27/2013

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) March 27, 2013

Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters, a serious buyer of original 1950's and 1960's boxing style style rock n roll concert posters, announces finding Jimi Hendrix 1969 Charlotte Coliseum concert poster. According to Hawley, "There were two poster versions made to advertise this show. The 14x22 inch cardboard poster was created by noted psychedelic poster artist David Byrd. Byrd produced posters for Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell and Jimi Hendrix at the Fillmore East. The poster found is in mint condition. The second poster was printed by Globe Poster in Baltimore. The Globe poster is 22x28 inches and features bright dayglow colors with Hendrix song titles. The Globe poster version was used to advertise Hendrix's 1969 performance at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina a month earlier."

Hawley is looking for the Globe version of the 1969 Charlotte Coliseum poster. He is willing to pay a cash reward for the this poster and other Hendrix concert posters for shows between 1967 and 1970. If you have this poster, please call 310-346-1965 or email andrew(at)vintageconcertposterbuyer(dot)com.
