And the Winner is… After Online Vote, Austin Cosmetic Dentist Crowns the Most Interesting Dental Patient in the World

The contest to see who is The Most Interesting Dental Patient in the World is over. The votes are tallied. And after viewing and voting on the most creative and authentic videos submitted by contestants, Dr. Mark Sweeney, a cosmetic dentist in Austin, is naming the lucky winner of up to $15,000 in free cosmetic dental work.

(Vocus) January 30, 2010 -- Last October, Dr. Mark Sweeney with Austin Dental Spa, a practice offering cosmetic dentistry in Austin, started an online contest to see who is the Most Interesting Dental Patient in the World. The rules were simple: people who felt they had the most compelling dental story were asked to videotape themselves describing why they were the most interesting dental patient. Participants were judged by an independent third-party voting committee based on creativity and entertainment value, and the top finalists were uploaded to Austin Dental Spa's YouTube and Facebook pages for an online vote. The winner was to receive up to $15,000 in free cosmetic dental care, and all others who submitted videos would earn an Austin teeth whitening treatment worth up to $600.

Online voting began on January 6th and ended on January 27th. And now, it’s time to announce the winner.
