Amerinet and American Healthcare Solutions Help Bring Coshocton County Memorial Hospital More Than $2 Million in Productivity and Efficiency Improvements
Date:8/26/2013

St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) August 26, 2013

Amerinet, Inc., a leading national healthcare solutions organization, working with supplier American Healthcare Solutions (AHS), recently helped long-time member Coshocton County Memorial Hospital enhance their staffing and efficiency programs, resulting in more than $2.8 million in productivity and efficiency improvements without a reduction in the workforce.

An Amerinet member since 1987, Coshocton County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is a 56-bed, short-term acute care facility located in rural Ohio. With a significant decline in volumes led by the outmigration of patients requiring specialty services, CCMH needed to take action to correct its weakening financial position and develop a clear vision for the future. Without a significant change in philosophy, leadership and execution, the organization was looking at several million dollars on losses.

Amerinet enlisted AHS to help Coshocton improve financial performance, enhance organizational strategy, and ensure exceptional leadership development.

"We were provided with a concise, orderly plan to attack our situation. With the help of AHS, we recognized what would give us the biggest return in the shortest amount of time and then worked to divide responsibility for segments of the plan among the leadership team,” said Bob Miller, Coshocton CEO.

The hospital was able to improve efficiencies and accomplish a savings of over $2.8M without a reduction in the workforce. In addition to other financial achievements, management accountability became consistent across the organization. With a detailed longterm work plan now in place, CCMH continues to strive for increased productivity and to evolve as a modern employer and healthcare provider.
