Americans Say Economy Will Improve in Three Years, Divided on Health Care Coverage Improvement

FLEMINGTON, N.J., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The results of a study conducted by HCD Research among 2,726 self-reported Republicans, Democrats and Independents revealed that while the majority of all parties reported that the economy will improve within three years, they were divided on the issue of health care coverage.

The study was conducted by HCD Research and the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO) during October 31 through November 2. Detailed results of the study are available on

During the study, participants were asked who they were voting for as well as their predictions regarding key election issues such as the nation's economy, energy, objectivity of the media, health care and other issues.
