American Scientific Resources Announces Acting CFO Transition to Full-Time

WESTON, Fla., July 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ASFX), today announced that the Company's Acting CFO, Ms. Teresa McWilliams, will be dedicating herself full-time to the position and has resigned from her current position as CFO for Next One Interactive.

Ms. McWilliams has held various positions as Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer. She possesses in-depth, practical knowledge in cash management, capital budgeting, financial reporting, tax and tax law; is heavily experienced in SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley; and has successfully assisted in the financial structuring and restructuring and/or launch of multiple start-up companies including IPO's.

Also an entrepreneur, Ms. McWilliams has been a consultant to a variety of publicly and privately held companies and non-profit organizations and has maintained solid relationships within the financial community and with other executives, professionals, attorneys, auditors and tax specialists. Ms. McWilliams possesses a BS degree in both Accounting and Business Administration and is currently working toward an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
