American Scientific Resources, Inc. Releases First Quarter Revenues
Date:5/11/2009

Sales Revenues Increase Primarily on Kidz-Med Thermofocus(R) 5-in-1

WESTON, Fla., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ASFX) today announced unaudited revenue results for the first quarter ending March 31, 2009.

The Company experienced a 15% sales increase with net sales of $263,603 for the first quarter of 2009, as compared to net sales of $229,982 for the first quarter of 2008.

The sales increase was predominantly due to a boost in online sales of the Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 Non-Contact Thermometer, Pacifier Medicine Dispenser and other products supplied by Kidz-Med. The increase in revenue was also based upon the introduction of the Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 in 157 of the world's leading toy and baby products stores.

Awareness was created through social media and organic and amplified word of mouth marketing to assist in driving traffic to the distribution channels listed as well as Walgreens, BabiesRUs.com and CVS.com.

Management expects this upward trend to continue and even accelerate as a result of the September 2008 introduction of the Thermofocus 5-in-1 to consumers via the world's largest specialty baby retailer.

Management hopes to have the audit of the 2008 financials and Q1 2009 review completed shortly.
