DANVERS, Mass., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Beverly Hospital's new outpatient center, a three-story 99,000 square-foot facility, provides day surgery, sports medicine, women's healthcare, cardiovascular care, imaging & pain management services and medical offices. The $30 million facility replaces the Hospital's aging Hunt Center. In a statement, Beverly Hospital said the new facility "extends our ability to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to residents of the North Shore area."
American Medical Buildings, a firm with over 25 years of outpatient focused healthcare development experience, provided planning, programming, design, engineering and project administrative services.
"Faced with the challenges of increasing regulations, escalating costs and falling reimbursements, the focus must be on developing facilities that support the delivery of cost sensitive, patient focused outpatient healthcare services, not just a pleasing building," states AMB CEO Jack Amormino. "It is this approach that is making the new outpatient center a success."
"It is critical in today's healthcare environment to create facilities that support our mission and goals through operational efficiencies, patient comfort, and clinical outcomes," adds Patricia Grady, Executive Director, Northeast Health System. "AMB was able to provide a unique level of expertise that enabled us to deliver exactly this type of facility to our complete satisfaction with our new Beverly Hospital at Danvers - Medical and Day Surgery Center."
