American Life League President Blasts 'Forced Abortion Referrals'

ACOG policy would force doctors to refer patients to abortionists

WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Judie Brown, president of American Life League issued the following statement regarding the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Committee of Ethics statement regarding the position of the organization to force or otherwise compel doctors to refer women to an abortionist regardless of personal conscience:

"The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' Committee of Ethics has made it crystal clear that ACOG is finally coming out of the closet and showing itself to be the godless entity we knew it was all along," stated Judie Brown. "The committee's recent dictatorial statement that physicians who do not want to perform abortion must refer patients to an abortionist validates the well-documented record that ACOG established early on and has been building upon ever since. There is no doubt whatsoever that the entire ACOG bureaucracy will support the proposal and enforce it."

"Ever since 1965," emphasized Brown, "when ACOG redefined the beginning of pregnancy so that patients would not need to know the truth about how the birth control pill works, things have been going downhill. It is obvious that the desire to satiate an appetite for money has taken over the entire organization. ACOG has been involved in deception and death for years, prescribing abortive birth control pills and forcing peers to involve themselves in killing preborn children by abortion. This recent statement confirms the commitment ACOG has to evil and its progeny."
