American Life League Applauds Congressional Action Against Planned Parenthood

ood is a business masquerading as a tax-exempt organization, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said, "Not only does this organization not pay taxes, like other businesses, but one-third of the hundreds of millions they get comes from tax dollars."

Idaho Rep. Bill Sali added, "An accounting gimmick masks the way Planned Parenthood uses federal dollars to fund its abortion services."

New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith, who called the Special Order, summarized the entire discussion by saying, "Abortion is big business, and it's destroying the next generation of Americans, and you and I, Mr. Speaker, are subsidizing it."
