Offering One Free VelaShape Treatment Through End of April

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- American Laser Centers, the largest provider of aesthetic services in the U.S., announced its sponsorship of SELF Magazine's 16th annual Workout in the Park, a total well-being blitz where thousands of active women converge in the country's top parks. This year, Workout in the Park is traveling to three cities -- San Diego on April 25th, New York on May 9th and Chicago on May 16th -- to introduce the hottest fitness trends and must-have beauty, health and nutrition essentials to women across the country. For tickets and more information about Workout in the Park visit www.selfworkoutinthepark.com.

Continuing the well-being and health themes of the event, SELF will donate 75 percent of proceeds from each event ticket sold to the following three beneficiaries:

  • Cancer and Career -- A program committed to changing the face of cancer in the workplace.
  • Fertile Hope -- A national, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.
  • Susan G Komen for the Cure(R) -- The world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cure.

"American Laser Centers is thrilled to be a sponsor of SELF's Workout in the Park not only as one of the most anticipated health and beauty events of the year, but also as a program that works to fundraise
