American Dental Association Launches Evidence-Based Dentistry Web Site

"This is just a first step for EBD.ada.org," explains John S. Findley, D.D.S., ADA president. "We will continue to gather feedback to make sure the Web site provides the most clinically relevant and current information in a concise and user-friendly manner for dental and health care professionals."

World renowned EBD experts

A panel of world renowned EBD Experts provides oversight for the EBD Web site, including training and overseeing the dentists that write the critical summaries. Panel members include: James Bader, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry; Janet Clarkson, University of Dundee, Dental Health Services and Research Unit, Scotland; John Gunsolley, Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry; Philippe Hujoel, University of Washington, School of Dentistry; Asbjorn Jokstad, University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry; Joseph Matthews, University of New Mexico, School of Medicine; Rick Niederman, Forsyth Institute; and Robert Weyant, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Celebrating its 150th anniversary, the not-for-profit ADA is the nation's largest dental association, representing more than 157,000 dentist members.
