American Community Introduces Its Own PPO Network in Ohio to Save Policyholders Money

LIVONIA, Mich., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- American Community Mutual Insurance Company, a leading provider of Group and Individual health insurance, announced today that it has introduced its own proprietary medical provider network in Ohio. The American Community Provider Network will save policyholders an average of 5 percent on medical premiums.

"American Community remains committed to ensuring that policyholders have the freedom and flexibility to choose the healthcare providers they want to see," said Eric Hales, Director of Network Development and Provider Relations. "By combining a strong, extensive network with American Community's flexible health plans, the AC Provider Network gives employers and individuals a new viable option for controlling healthcare costs while receiving excellent coverage."

Policyholders have access to 82 hospitals and more than 6,400 providers at 10,000 locations throughout Ohio by joining the AC Provider Network. To locate a participating hospital, physician or specialist, visit www.american-community.com, then select Find a Healthcare Provider.

The AC Provider Network is available on all American Community Group and Individual health plans that include a PPO network, including: APEP Choices(TM), American's Omega Solutions(TM), Community Flex(TM), Coverage on Demand(TM), Latitude(TM), Next Generation HSA(TM) and Triple Tier(TM).
