American Cancer Society - Hope Lodges Sign 29th Contract to Implement SoftBrands Systems

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SoftBrands, Inc. (NYSE Amex: SBN), a global supplier of enterprise application software, announced today the American Cancer Society's North Phoenix Hope Lodge will be the 29th Hope Lodge to implement SoftBrands' Epitome property management system.

"We are extremely proud of our partnership with the American Cancer Society and Hope Lodges as they continue to expand," said Jo Masters, senior vice president and general manager, SoftBrands Hospitality. "It is an honor to be associated with such a great organization that provides help to patients and families in their time of need. We are proud that we have been able to help them take our Epitome Property Management System and adapt the application for their lodging requirements."

The American Cancer Society currently operates 28 Hope Lodges throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The ACS Hope Lodge North Phoenix will be the 29th facility and is scheduled to open in fall 2009.
