American Association for Cancer Research hosts 100th Annual Meeting 2009

What: The 100th AACR Annual Meeting 2009 features the latest findings in laboratory, translational and clinical cancer research. This year's meeting focuses on new and promising therapeutic approaches, as well as strides being made in diagnosing and preventing cancer.

To help you take the best advantage of the meeting's scientific abstracts and related activities, the meeting's program schedule and related abstracts will be available online at www.aacr.org on Friday, March 13. An electronic press kit containing the press releases and highlighted abstracts will be available to subscribing reporters on April 14, 2009, via Newswise and Eurekalert.

More than 6,000 abstracts will be presented at the meeting, complementing an outstanding program of scientific and educational events. The AACR Annual Meeting attracts world leaders in cancer research and treatment, including clinical oncologists, basic scientists, translational researchers and epidemiologists. Our mission is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication and collaboration.
