AmeriHealth Mercy President and CEO Daniel J. Hilferty to be Honored by Northern Home for Children at its Annual Partnerships for the Children Awards Dinner

Philadelphia, Pa. (Vocus) May 26, 2009-- More than 200 are expected to attend the second annual Partnerships for the Children Awards dinner, hosted by Northern Home for Children, as they honor and recognize Daniel J. Hilferty, president and chief executive officer, the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies, for his commitment to serving and bettering the lives of children throughout the Delaware Valley.

Northern Home for Children is a community-based organization helping at-risk children and families through support programs that include: Residential Services (for teenage moms and babies), Partial Hospitalization and Outpatient Care, Foster Care, Adoption Services, Wraparound Services, Services to Children in their Own Home (SCOH), School-Based Services, and Parenting Education.
