Ambulatory Services of America, Inc. Announces Joint Venture with Southern Ocean County Radiation Oncology, LLC

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Ambulatory Services of America, Inc. announced that it has completed the formation of ROSA of Southern New Jersey, LLC, a joint venture between Southern Ocean County Radiation Oncology, LLC and ASA's subsidiary, Radiation Oncology Services of America, Inc. ROSA of Southern New Jersey is ASA's third radiation oncology joint venture, which brings the number of radiation oncology facilities operated by ASA to ten. ROSA of Southern New Jersey will own and operate a radiation treatment facility in Manahawkin, New Jersey that was previously owned and operated by Southern Ocean County Radiation Oncology.

ROSA of Southern New Jersey will offer state-of-the-art cancer treatment services, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), in the Manahawkin center. The joint venture expects to build on Southern Ocean County Radiation Oncology's legacy of providing high-quality cancer care to the residents of Southern New Jersey. Lawrence Coia, M.D., a member of Radiation Oncology Services of America's Scientific Advisory Board, will serve as medical director for ROSA of Southern New Jersey.
