AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Tech (http://alliancetech.com), the leader in event measurement utilizing RFID, announced today that Carestream Health, Inc., used the company's RFID-powered event measurement technologies to identify additional lead opportunities with attendees at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference held in Chicago in early December.
Organizers of RSNA, the largest annual medical industry event in the U.S., tapped Alliance Tech and partner Experient for the second consecutive year to incorporate RFID technology at the show. By utilizing this technology, RSNA and its exhibitors were able to obtain key measurement data by evaluating attendee interests and booth participation from the 60,000 show participants.
Carestream Health (http://carestreamhealth.com/), a medical and dental imaging systems and information technology provider to customers worldwide, worked with Alliance Tech to leverage the conference's existing RFID infrastructure. The company installed Alliance Tech RFID readers throughout its booth to capture actionable insights about interested visitors.
When RSNA attendees stopped to visit with Carestream Health's booth staff, the RFID readers immediately provided key demographics about the attendee, such as job function, title and organization - which enabled the company to more effectively qualify potential leads. The Alliance Tech solution also alerted Carestream Health's event staff, via cell phone, when a highly qualified lead visited the booth; this enabled the team to quickly provide more targeted customer service.
"With Alliance Tech, we gained additional insights about our booth traffic. We discovered which products were most interesting to our visitors, mapped attendee routes through our booth and recorded the duration of their visits," said Diane Evenson, Worldwide Event Manager, Carestream Health. "Alliance Tech enabled us to enhance our customer focus during the show, significantly increased qualified leads captured and ultimately increased our ROI for this important event."
Roger Lewis (http://budurl.com/alliancetechLewis), Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Alliance Tech, said that the company's solutions are particularly helpful in the down economy. "Alliance Tech gives event managers the ability to put on more effective conferences, stay within their budgets, and increase the quality of leads. Armed with metrics, event planners can now show the value of the events they attend, and demonstrate the ROI to management," stated Lewis.
