Date:9/11/2009

MIAMI, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- At a press conference held in Coral Gables September 1st, 2009, Centro Mater Foundation's president, Ana Ortega, announced details of the organization's alliance with Navarro Discount Pharmacies. Centro Mater is a non profit organization that provides education and care for children from six weeks to 12 years of age. The organization was founded in 1969 and currently has five centers in Miami-Dade County - two in Hialeah, two in Little Havana, and one in Hialeah Gardens. "Your Change can Change Their Future" is the message Navarro is helping Centro Mater spread. Given the current financial climate, Centro Mater is asking shoppers to drop their change in their collection boxes.

At the press conference it was emphasized that one hundred percent of the funds collected at Navarro Discount Pharmacies will go directly to meet the needs of single parents and low income families who need assistance in covering the cost of childcare.
