Allergy Reality: Launching An Educational Gaming App For Food Allergies
Date:6/7/2017

"We are Coral and Megan; two moms that have children with food allergies and Celiac disease. We both struggled to understand the allergy our child faced and recognized the great need for additional resources. To support this need we have created Allergy Reality; a fun and interactive gaming app teaching kids and adults about food specific allergies, intolerances and more. If you would like to read our personal journeys, please visit our blog."

Allergy Reality covers five main food allergies; gluten, dairy, soy, nuts and eggs. Players immediately get immersed in real life situations where they open up a fridge and pantry and choose delicious safe foods. Also learning brand recognition through sponsored products for quick shopping choices.

Subsequent levels include matching games, where players learn what they can eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Word scramblers make label reading fun. By the end the users are putting all their knowledge to the test by reading food labels and deciphering if they are safe or unsafe. In the food allergy world these skills are essential and critical to stay healthy.

With stunning colorful graphics, catchy original music and interactive games, learning becomes fun and exciting. This app not only makes eating allergy friendly easier and enticing, it also empowers those with restricted food diets. "Help us change the world one level at a time."

Allergy Reality officially launches June 11, 2017. Download on the App Store and Google Play.

Play it. Love it. Review it.
