Allayo Debuts Virtual Health Assistant At HealthBeat 2013
Date:5/20/2013

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 20, 2013

Today, Allayo announced the debut of their new virtual health assistant at HealthBeat 2013. A mobile application called Allie helps health care consumers who are frustrated by the time and effort it takes to arrange for quality health care. Ideal for busy individuals and caregivers, Allie offers a unique combination of mobile technology and access to personalized service from certified medical assistants in order to help people ensure their health care needs are being met. Allie is being previewed at the HealthBeat 2013 conference and is being made available by invitation in a limited beta for HealthBeat conference attendees.

“Dealing with the health care system is hard, and people are just too busy to consistently push through all the obstacles,” said Stephen Zocchi, co-founder and CEO of Allayo. As an example, Zocchi referred to a recent Aon Hewitt study showing that over 70% of employers had health initiatives, but that 85% of employees said that they were just too busy to participate. “Throwing more technology and games at health care is only a partial solution, people need actual help navigating and following through on their health care needs.”

Like Having A Personal Assistant For Health Care

Allie is a virtual health assistant. The idea is based on the feedback and experiences gained by helping people arrange thousands of health care services. Allie is a mobile application with a big plus; combining the benefits of easy access with the support of certified medical assistants who understand health care systems, processes and billing procedures. With Allie, individuals and caregivers not only simplify their access to health care, they get a full service solution that will help take the burden of navigating and following through on health care off their shoulders.
