AllMed's New PeerPoint Medical Review Portal Improves Medical Review Process
Date:5/18/2009

Web 2.0 technology provides workflow efficiency, tracks cases in review, meets tight deadlines and reduces costs

Portland, OR (PRWEB) May 18, 2009 -- Today, AllMed Healthcare Management Inc. announced the launch of its PeerPoint® Medical Review Portal software. PeerPoint is a start-of-the-art software platform that allows payer clients to send and receive independent medical reviews via the web.

"We developed PeerPoint Workflow to create the best single source of knowledge, collaboration and information sharing for healthcare claims, medical management and hospital peer review," said Andrew Rowe, CEO.

At the heart of the system is a secure paperless workflow that improves the efficiency, tracking and delivery of medical reviews. PeerPoint workflow makes it easy for customers to submit, track and receive medical reviews over the Web. PeerPoint Workflow tracks the details of every case from its receipt, until one of AllMed's 400 peer specialist reviewers makes a determination on the case and returns it.

"It's our job to take the pain out of medical reviews for our clients by helping to reduce the cost and time spent sending, receiving and processing cases," Rowe said. "Not only will PeerPoint Workflow improve the medical review decision making for our clients, but PeerPoint Network will help keep them up-to-date on the latest in medical necessity."

Easy Workflow Set Up and Tracking
PeerPoint Workflow is a time-saving system, making the medical and peer review effort more efficient than ever before. Available at no-cost to volume customers, PeerPoint workflow is easy to use. It requires no technical skills to set up and only takes a matter of minutes, largely because there is no software to download or training required.

All clients have their own private PeerPoint workflow dashboard. From the dashboard, they have t
