Alfred B. Knight, M.D., Scott & White Healthcare, presents at 8th Annual World Health Care Congress

TEMPLE, Texas (April 4, 2011) Alfred B. Knight, MD, CEO, Scott & White Healthcare, will be a featured keynote presenter at the 8th Annual World Health Care Congress (WHCC), April 4-6, 2011 in Washington, D.C. The WHCC will convene 1,800 senior health care leaders from all industry sectors for discussion and debate on the present and future state of health care. www.worldhealthcarecongress.com

Dr. Knight will speak during the Hospital and Health System Summit on "Delivering High-Value Care Payment and Delivery Models That Produce Results," 2 - 2:55 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011.

Specifically, Dr. Knight will share information on how the Scott & White system achieved the Dartmouth ranking of top 10 performers in the areas for highest quality and controlled cost and review its journey to become a high-performing health system.

The 8th Annual WHCC will feature the major sectors in health care to determine actionable goals and implementation strategies to demonstrate quality, consumer choice, cost-effectiveness and transparency. Thought leaders engage in debates, present case studies, and share best practices from all industry sectors including leading employers, CMS officials, insurers/payers, health system and hospital providers, pharmaceutical and biotech executives, academics, analysts and government officials.
