Alexion to Present at Investor Conferences

CHESHIRE, Conn., March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXN) today announced that Leonard Bell, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Alexion Pharmaceuticals, will present at two upcoming investor conferences, one sponsored by Cowen and Company and the other by Lehman Brothers.

Dr. Bell will present at the Cowen and Company 27th Annual Healthcare Conference in Boston at 2:25 p.m. Eastern Time, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Dr. Bell will also present at the Lehman Brothers Eleventh Annual Global Healthcare Conference in Miami at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time, on Thursday, March 20, 2008.

An audio webcast of Dr. Bell's remarks from both conferences will be available live on Alexion's web site at http://www.alexionpharm.com. An archived version of the remarks will also be available on the web site for a limited time following the conference.
