Supermarket Gains Latest Pharmacy Management Technology, Will Offer Patients Any-Store Refills
FORT WORTH, Texas, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Boise, Idaho-based Albertson's, LLC has selected PDX and affiliates Rx.com and NHIN as its turnkey partners of choice for its pharmacy technology solution.
Albertson's, LLC is replacing its current system with the all new Enterprise Pharmacy System (EPS), unparalleled in efficiency, safety, and tools for patient care. The chain's pharmacies will also implement the Rx.com Electronic Pharmacy Record (EPR), which facilitates complete chain-wide DUR checking and allows patients the convenience of shopping at any Albertson's, LLC pharmacy. Additionally, NHIN will provide complete submissions, reconciliations, and collections services for Albertsons, LLC as well as manage its day-to-day central host operations via Host Administrative Services.
