Date:11/24/2008

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Agito Networks, Inc.(TM), the company delivering new technology in enterprise mobility, today announced that it has named former Veraz Networks executive Amit Chawla as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Agito Networks' flagship product is the award-winning RoamAnywhere(TM) Mobility Router(TM), which uniquely fuses WiFi, cellular, IP telephony, and location information, improving the accessibility and responsiveness of mobile workers, while drastically reducing mobile costs (http://www.agitonetworks.com/products). RoamAnywhere mobilizes voice and unified communications for enterprises of all sizes, extending PBX and deskphone features to mobile phones. In addition, RoamAnywhere provides industry-leading handover between WiFi and cellular networks to reduce cellular costs and improve in-building coverage. Purpose-built for the enterprise, RoamAnywhere uniquely offers high availability, redundancy, security, enterprise scalability, and the industry's broadest mobile handset and IP-PBX support. It works with all cellular network technology, and natively integrates with enterprises' existing equipment, including WLAN infrastructure and directory stores.

"The addition of this proven executive leader to Agito Networks' management team further adds to the growing corporate capabilities of the company," said Agito Networks Chairman of the Board David Leonard. "Amit has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to grow successful companies in the telecommunications industry. We will rely on his knowledge, expertise and wealth of global industry contacts as we expand the markets for our innovative enterprise mobility products helping enterprises increase mobile worker productivity and reduce cellular expenses."

Mr. Chawla brings more than 24 years of telecom product development, product management, business and market development experience across wire line and emerging wireless Internet companies to Agito Networks. Most recently, Mr. Chawla served as the Executive Vice President of Global Business Units for Veraz Networks, a leading provider of IP-enabled communications solutions in more than 60 countries, which listed on NASDAQ in 2007. Veraz Networks was formed in 2003 following the merger of ECI Telecom's NGTS Division with NexVerse Networks, where Mr. Chawla served as CEO. Previously, Mr. Chawla spent 13 years at Nortel Networks, most recently as Vice President of Portfolio Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of London, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada.

"I am excited to join this strong team and build upon the industry leadership already gained by Agito Networks in a short time, validated by industry accolades and growing customer traction," said Mr. Chawla. "The global enterprise mobility opportunity shows good promise and Agito's RoamAnywhere Mobility Router is clearly differentiated in the industry to best meet the complex mobility needs of enterprises. I look forward to helping Agito dominate in this emerging market."
