Advocate Christ Medical Center Presented The 2009 Morehead Apex Workplace of Excellence Award

Charlotte, NC (Vocus) April 28, 2010 -- Advocate Christ Medical Center and Hope Children’s Hospital was awarded the Morehead Apex Workplace of Excellence at the recent Morehead Associates Peer to Peer ConferenceTM held at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, N.C.

Christ Medical Center and Hope Children’s Hospital is part of the Advocate Health Care system, the largest, fully integrated health care system in the state of Illinois and one of the top health care systems in the country.

The Morehead Apex Workplace of Excellence is a singular award given annually on the basis of extraordinary achievement and documented excellence. The recipient workplace has set itself apart from the competition through a steadfast dedication to improvement and an ability to sustain high performance in both quality of care and employee and physician engagement.

In three consecutive surveys conducted by Morehead Associates, Inc., Christ Medical Center has scored in the 96th percentile in associate satisfaction.
