AdvaMed 2008 Opens Showcasing Latest Medical Technologies with Innovation Alley Exhibit and Next Generation Company Presentations

Ernst & Young to Issue First Ever "Pulse of the Industry Report" at Conference

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22, /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AdvaMed 2008: The MedTech Conference kicks off with the release of the first ever Ernst & Young "Pulse of the Industry: US Medical Technology" report, nearly 20 next generation company presentations, and the opening of "Innovation Alley" -- a showcase of the world's most advanced medical technology, surgical tools and diagnostic products.

The exhibition hall also will feature two book signings including 1980 Olympic Gold Medal Speed Skater and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Eric Heiden's newly released Faster, Better, Stronger at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 23rd and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's Real Change at 9 am on Wednesday, September 24th.
