Adaptis Promotes Roya Rezai to Chief Compliance Officer

SEATTLE, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing solutions for health payors, today announced the promotion of Roya Rezai to Chief Compliance Officer. As the company's Chief Compliance Officer, Rezai becomes a member of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for all of Adaptis' compliance, privacy and information security issues. Rezai most recently served as the company's Compliance Officer.

Rezai is an experienced professional with broad knowledge of healthcare and a deep understanding of compliance, privacy and information security. Early in the healthcare compliance movement, Rezai was chosen as the first-ever Chief Compliance Officer for a large psychiatric hospital in Washington State. Later, she served as Chief of Compliance and Chief of Operations for a large inner-city, federally qualified health center.

Rezai completed the Privacy Specialty Advancement Program of American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and achieved the status of Certified Compliance Officer through the Healthcare Fraud and Abuse Compliance Institute. She is a member of AHIMA, the Health Care Compliance Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Health Information Management Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She recently became certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC), the
