Adaptis Names Jan Claesson Senior Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer

SEATTLE, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Adaptis, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing solutions for health payors, today announced that it has hired Jan Claesson as Senior Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer. Claesson was selected for his extensive leadership background in addition to his deep experience in driving rapid growth and profits through corporate transformations.

With more than twenty years of senior management leadership experience in the U.S. and abroad, Claesson has honed his ability to build effective organizations and global partnerships. Claesson's corporate background includes more than a decade at Microsoft where he was responsible for the company's largest customer, negotiated contracts to ensure future revenues, and started two support businesses each currently generating more than $100M. As an Executive Vice President and Officer for InfoSpace (INSP) in the company's Mobile Division, Claesson transformed a loss into a profitable operation in less than a year. In addition to founding three companies and serving as an executive at several emerging companies in the U.S., Claesson has worked overseas at both Eli Lilly and SCA.

Claesson is active at Seattle University and Santa Clara University as an advisory board member, mentor and lecturer. He has an MBA from the Business School at University of Gothenburg, Sweden and has lived and worked in three countries and speaks several languages.
