Adair Greene-McCann Wins Gold with 'Relief'
Date:11/18/2008

ATLANTA, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Adair Greene-McCann walked off with top honors at the 2008 Medical Marketing and Media (MM&M) Awards for its consumer TV commercial for Sarna(R), an over-the-counter line of lotions for the relief of itching created for the Consumer Health Division of Stiefel Laboratories.

The Gold Award winning commercial, dubbed "Relief Runs in the Family," was rated best in the Over-the-Counter Advertisement/Campaign category, beating out four other finalists.

"We are excited to win this recognition," said Mark Perlotto, executive vice president and managing director of Adair Greene-McCann, "particularly since it involved a top-to-bottom make-over for the Sarna(R) brand by our creative team -- from designing new packaging to positioning, messaging and ultimately the production of the Relief Runs in the Family commercial."

"Taking top honors in the OTC category in this year's MM&M Awards also demonstrates the quality and versatility of our creative product, having previously won top honors in other award competitions for our work with Rx pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic clients," he continued.

Over 800 entries were submitted across 24 categories in this year's fifth annual MM&M Awards, sponsored by Medical Marketing & Media. Forty-three top executives from pharmaceutical corporations, advertising agencies and medical publishers selected this year's winners. The awards were presented at a black-tie dinner and presentation held at Tavern on the Green in New York City on October 30th.

Adair Greene-McCann's roster of clients includes Boston Scientific, Cumberland Pharmaceuticals, Kimberly-Clark Healthcare, MEDRAD, Respironics, Sciele Pharma, Steris, Stiefel and Terumo Medical Corporation, among others. The agency is part of McCann Healthcare Worldwide and is located at 1575 Northside Drive NW, Building 200, Atlanta, GA 30318. Tel: (404) 351-8424; fax: (404) 351-4865.
