Acuo Technologies(R) Announces a Fully Integrated XDS-I Solution

Acuo's forthcoming release offers full support for XDS-I, if you are interested in how to share clinical records in the form of documents and images within your institution or outside the enterprise, such as a RHIO or IDN, then Acuo Technologies has the solution for you using XDS. "I am very excited about Acuo pioneering the XDS initiative. We feel the IHE frameworks are both strategic and important to the future or the Acuo product suite as they are to the future of the healthcare IT market. We view XDS, and XDS-I for images, as paving the way for a true standards based solution for disparate healthcare institutions and applications to share critical clinical content" stated Jeff Timbrook, CEO.

Acuo Technologies, an image management software company, will be demonstrating DICOM Services Grid(TM) software solutions that manage medical image storage and retrieval and integrate them with existing technology platforms based upon DICOM/HL7/XDS and IHE profiles. The technology demonstration will be held at Acuo Technologies Booth #8075 at the HIMSS annual meeting in Orlando Florida, February 24-28, 2008.
