Accumen’s “Are You Ready?” Campaign Aims to Resolve Top Pain Points for Ancillary Services in Healthcare
Date:3/10/2020

Accumen Inc., the leader in healthcare performance within ancillary services, today announced the launch of its “Are You Ready?” campaign to help hospital and health systems relieve new, industry-related pain points and exceed their goals for 2020.

“We combined our expert knowledge with industry research to identify the top issues that ancillary services executives are now having to build plans around to be successful in 2020, and for the next several years. Then, we developed detailed plans to address each one of them,” said Accumen President and CEO Jeff Osborne. “For example, hospital reimbursement rates are declining year over year, with some of the largest cuts we’ve seen starting this year, while overall costs are rising. Accumen can help to identify up to 20% in ancillary supply chain cost savings to help offset this issue.”

Accumen will address each of these pain points using its unique partnership approach. Accumen experts will work alongside hospital or health system staff and use the organization’s own data to develop a customized plan to address their specific issues.

While the pain points differ by ancillary focus, here are a few that apply to the lab and imaging department. Through this campaign, Accumen asks these and other critical questions – and is prepared with solutions.

Are You Ready:

To safely meet all patient blood product needs during predicted supply shortages?
For new artificial intelligence (AI) and three-dimensional (3D) advanced visualization applications?
For the operational impact of the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) mandate?
To reduce your laboratory supply chain costs by as much as 20%?
To manage the price transparency mandate?

Those who viewed this checklist with some trepidation can learn more about Accumen’s customized approach to address each of these issues at http://www.Accumen.com/BeReady or call 1-855-ACCUMEN. Accumen’s monthly Healthcare Performance Insider magazine is also a valuable resource to ensure healthcare executives are ready.
