MONS, Belgium, December 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Prentke Romich Company (PRC), the leading manufacturer of Alternative and Augmented Communication (AAC) devices for individuals with speech disabilities, has selected Acapela High Quality voices to speech empower Vantage(TM) Lite, its latest device for AAC beginners.

Smart, compact, rugged and portable, Vantage Lite is a new generation communication device for children and adults who use augmentative communication. Vantage Lite opens the door to rich, independent personal expression through PRC's proven Unity(R) language system, which allows users to progress from simple words and phrases to inventive and spontaneous communication. Acapela's synthesised natural voices vocalise the words and phrases and vocally interact with the user.
