Access Will Join Health Care Leaders from Across the Globe at Cerner Health Conference 2018
Date:10/5/2018

Access will attend and exhibit at the Cerner Health Conference (CHC) 2018, an annual conference on the latest innovations in health care and IT. Cerner, a global leader in health care technology, will host this year’s event Oct. 8-11 throughout downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

"We’re really all about three things: closing paper gaps by providing Patient Electronic Signature functionality that converts common paper documentation such as Informed Consents, Radiology Questionnaires, Government forms, etc into digital forms; facilitating mobility strategies by enabling mobile devices - such as iPads and Android tablets - for use at the bedside; and reducing friction for end users by delivering a user interface that links with hospitals' native Cerner workflow so well that users feel they’ve never left Cerner," said Access founder and CEO Tim Elliott.

Access will join nearly 14,000 health care industry leaders, practitioners and Cerner associates from around the world who gather at CHC each year to stay ahead of the curve and up to date on new and existing technology. This year’s theme, "Smarter Care," highlights contextual, intelligent experiences and continuous advancement as a smarter organizational strategy with a focus on proactive engagement and wellness.

With more than 200 educational sessions and 700 expert and industry-leading speakers, CHC provides organizations insight on ways to engage consumers in their care and gain improved health outcomes. Access will be showcasing its patient electronic signatures and e-forms solutions that integrate seamlessly with Cerner’s EHR on the 90,000-square-foot Solutions Gallery floor. Featuring exhibits from more than 140 supplier organizations, the Solutions Gallery provides experiential learning with cutting-edge technology and connections with Cerner associates.

Visitors to Access’s booth (#218) will learn how only the company’s paperless solutions enable hospitals to:

  • Present Patient Electronic Signature solutions for Registration and in the various clinical care settings
  • Present patients with simple, intuitively designed eForms (e.g. consents, questionnaires, HIPAA compliance and other government forms, and more.)
  • Present the full form for easy patient viewing on a portable tablets
  • Allow patients to complete and electronically sign forms using a stylus or their finger
  • Intuitively complete forms in a "paper-like" manner, such as drawing on an image of a human body
  • Provide a straightforward and simple patient experience that minimizes additional stress
