Access MediQuip to Be Featured On CNN Airport Network, Talk Business 360 Radio & Video
Date:7/10/2013

Lake Mary, FL (PRWEB) July 10, 2013

Access MediQuip, the nation's first and largest surgical and implant management company, announced today that an interview with Prakash Patel, MD, CEO of Access MediQuip, will be featured on the CNN Airport Television Network, TALK BUSINESS 360 radio program and YouTube video channel.

In the interview, Dr. Patel will discuss the use of implants in surgical procedures; the challenges facing health plans, surgical facilities, physicians and patients concerning the use of implants; and the role of Access MediQuip in addressing these challenges.

The interview will air on both networks this summer. The CNN Airport Network is broadcast at more than 2,000 gates and in 27 clubrooms throughout 50 U.S. airports. The TALK BUSINESS 360 in-flight radio program is accessible by passengers on more than 3,300 US Airways international flights, while its YouTube channel is accessible by the general public. "This interview will reach hundreds of thousands of travelers this summer, as well as many visitors to YouTube," Dr. Patel said. "It will provide Access MediQuip with a terrific opportunity to educate the public about the challenges associated with implant use in surgeries, and how we work with our partners to tackle these issues and improve the overall quality of healthcare throughout the U.S."

Dr. Patel continued, "Surgical implants have a wide variability in pricing, and there is little insight into their effect on patient surgical outcomes. As the nation's leading provider of surgical and implant management solutions, Access MediQuip is positioned to help health plans, facilities, physicians and patients make the right decisions on implants to provide the best care possible at the lowest cost."
