Accelify Announces the Addition of Sandra L. Murman to its National Board of Advisors

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelify is proud to announce the addition of Sandra L. Murman to our team. Sandra will serve as Director of Development in the State of Florida and will also join Accelify's National Board of Advisors.

Prior to joining Accelify, Sandra served for eight years as a member of the Florida House of Representatives and was Speaker Pro-Tempore from 1996-2004. During her time in the Florida legislature, she personally sponsored and passed 64 bills and brought home over $900 million dollars that benefited her constituency.

Sandy has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 35 years as an active community advocate as well as a public policy leader in making children and families safer, smarter, healthier, and financially secure for the future. She has been directly involved in more than 20 organizations that support our community and enhances the lives of our children and hard working families. Her hands on approach in addition to her knowledge and leadership in the legislature in helping others has earned her recognition and numerous awards for her unequaled support, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Peter Bernal Award of Distinction for the Florida Association of Health Care Plans, Community Advocate for Education award for the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Sun Coast Girl Scout Council 2004 Woman of Distinction, Sheriff's Association, Legislative Leadership; Florida Medical Association, Legislator of the Year; Florida Assisted Living Association, Legislator of the Year; Florida Association of Community Health Centers, Legislator of the Year and American Cancer Society, Legislative Leadership.

Throughout her career Sandy has demonstrated her commitment to Florida's children, evident by her selection to the Prepaid College Foundation Board, Florida Taxwatch Commission on Education Performance and Accountability and the Early Learning
