ATA Launches Complimentary “This Month in Telemedicine” Videocast Series

The American Telemedicine Association is producing a free monthly videocast series, providing news and public policy updates on issues impacting the use and deployment of telemedicine including remote clinical services, mHealth and online consultations. The series, “This Month in Telemedicine,” puts special attention on innovative state-level developments and payment mechanisms, which can serve as models for the telemedicine at the national and international level. The variable format includes presentations and interviews, as well as live question and answer sessions with the audience.

“With so much happening in the field of telemedicine and mHealth, it’s hard to separate the meaningful from the hype. ATA is launching this videocast series to provide context for the news and offer some perspective on what is truly moving the industry forward,” said Jonathan Linkous, CEO of the American Telemedicine Association. “We have made this a free videocast, open to ATA members and non-members alike, as part of our organization’s mission to promote the full global deployment of telemedicine technologies and services.”
