ASAP Systems Passport Gets Cutting-Edge Mobile Inventory, Asset and Property Tracking Software

With the look and feel of an Apple iPhone application, ASAP Systems' mobile inventory and asset software applications run on Motorola handheld barcode scanners. Like its parent desktop version, the Passport mobile unit runs on industry standard Microsoft SQL Server databases and is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista.

The Passport mobile barcode scanners can upload practically unlimited amounts of data through the synchronization process. This allows the user to authenticate inventory levels, asset locations and evidence and property on the spot. In addition to authenticating data, the new Passport mobile software applications allow for data searches and queries on the units themselves, without having to use the desktop application. "We call our Passport mobile software "smart" for this reason," said Touma.

With inventory control and asset management being key features, the Passport mobile solutions will become invaluable to users. Since the desktop version integrates with popular business software such as QuickBooks and hundreds of other accounting, CRM, ERP, POS, and database applications, the new Passport mobile software applications can now display, alter and manage that data.
