Joint development effort provides an excellent end-user experience and streamlined workflow

BOSTON, March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AMICAS, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions, today announced that Monroe Clinic of Monroe, WI, is the first customer to benefit from a standards-based framework that allows Verona, WI-based Epic Systems Corporation's Radiant RIS(TM) to tightly integrate with AMICAS PACS(TM).

Monroe Clinic is a not-for-profit health system that includes a multi-specialty clinic and hospital with more than 80 providers, a 24-hour emergency room, home care and hospice services, and 10 clinics in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The Radiant RIS-AMICAS PACS solution will also be featured at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center of Boston and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
