AMERIGROUP to Participate in National Disability Men...(RIGROUP is hosting morethan 50 students ...),Health

RIGROUP is hosting more than 50 students with disabilities from Norfolk Public Schools to the Company's headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on both October 16 and October 17. In addition to spending time with an AMERIGROUP associate in the student's requested area of interest, these high school students will learn more about potential career paths, dressing for success and job interview skills. AMERIGROUP also is hosting similar Disability Mentoring Day events at its offices in Ohio and throughout Florida.

AMERIGROUP was founded in 1994 and initially focused solely on serving low-income mothers and children through the Medicaid program. In 1998, the Company began serving people with chronic and severe health conditions through Medicaid's Aged, Blind and Disabled (ABD) program.
