ALOKA Appoints New Management in Europe

TOKYO, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- ALOKA Co., Ltd., a pioneer in the development of diagnostic ultrasound systems, today announced the appointments of Masanobu Tada as President, and Carlos Faustmann as Vice President of Operations of ALOKA Holding Europe AG, the company's wholly-owned European headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, with immediate effect.

Mr. Tada was responsible for the Global Marketing of the company as general manager since 2002. After having successfully contributed to the company's growth in the international ultrasound business, he was transferred to ALOKA Holding Europe this August.

Mr. Faustmann joined ALOKA Holding Europe this April, and brings many years of experience in the ultrasound business, having held several senior management positions at Acuson European headquarters and Siemens Ultrasound Division.

"With the aim of strengthening our business operations in Europe, the most important strategic sales area for ALOKA, Mr. Tada and Mr. Faustmann were appointed to the management and the board of directors of ALOKA Holding Europe. I am confident that the new management in our European headquarters will contribute to achieve our consolidated mid-term business growth," said Mr. Yoichi Eihara, Executive Managing Director of the company and Chairman of the board of directors of ALOKA Holding Europe AG.
