AL-TAR Services, Inc. Laboratory Is Now Accredited For ACLASS Standards
Date:6/29/2010

AL-TAR Services, Inc., a California based laboratory equipment repair and instrument calibration services company, has been formally approved by ACLASS and the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board as an internationally accredited calibration lab.

(PRWEB) June 29, 2010 -- Beginning in 2009, the AL-TAR Quality Department invested valuable time and began its journey working towards the prestigious International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 17025 Certification. While the California based laboratory testing and calibration company had already integrated the basic concepts of the 17025 ISO certification into their daily calibration practices, ANSI and related governing bodies rightfully require an extremely strict step-by-step guideline for calibration processes. ACLASS, a non-profit and non-governmental organization jointly owned by the American National Standards and the American Society for Quality, have certification standards in place that are highly reputed by the international standards for calibration service companies.

AL-TAR (http://www.al-tar.com), with this accreditation, can now officially provide International certification for their client's valuable laboratory equipment (http://al-tar.com/pipette-thermal-cycler-and-laboratory-instrument-calibration), guaranteeing their performance in calibration and ensuring the integrity of laboratory processes. For an industry entirely dependent upon accuracy and consistency, assuring equipment performs at its required specifications provides confidence that the results are precise.

“This is a very proud milestone in AL-TAR’s storied history. We have always striven to provide our customers with exceptional services and products and obtaining ISO 17025 accreditation allows us to take our service capabilities to another level. Our customers can now rest assured that their calibrations are performed to the most stringent requirements. It has been a long time coming and we are now very proud to offer this to all of our customers,” says Melissa Castro, CEO.

Along with their instrumentation repair and online laboratory equipment store (http://www.al-tar.com/storefront), AL-TAR is rapidly gaining momentum and a reputation as an accessible, all-encompassing, top-quality support center for companies in the Life Sciences research arena. Thus, the majority of AL-TAR's clients and the equipment AL-TAR services are used for vital research of biological systems, structure, growth and behavior of living organisms, such as cures for life threatening diseases.
