Participants will also develop a deeper understanding of the behavior and challenges faced by members of their families and co-workers. Attendees will take away some key insights, practices and strategies they can use to create a more promising future for themselves and others.

“I am really excited to be partnering with someone of Carol’s caliber here at the New England ADHD Treatment Center. We believe our patients will gain insight and learn new skills that will enable them to move forward in their lives more confidently,” adds Dr. Speller.

ADHD, meaning “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” is estimated to affect between 15-20 million American adults. The primary symptoms of ADHD are inattention, impulsivity and sometimes hyperactivity. The diagnosis of ADHD however is not based on the presence of these symptoms alone. Most people find themselves being distracted and impulsive, even hyperactive, at some points in their lives. What distinguishes ADHD from “everyday” inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity is the severity, duration and scope of these symptoms, as well as how they affect a person’s everyday life.
